About Me

Greetings.

Over the years my work has been recognized with several awards. But the best part of my fifteen year career has been countless opportunities to meet and interact with the people involved in the news of the day.

I’m a multimedia journalist headquartered in San Francisco. In the Bay Area, I file for television, radio and online outlets.

I’m a general assignment reporter, so if you have a story you’d like me cover, I’d be happy to be of service.

Over the years, I have developed a couple of specialties.

I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, so immigration stories always seemed to make their way to my desk.  I’ve since taken on this subject because I find it absolutely fascinating.

My current location in San Francisco has also opened up plenty of opportunities for covering the Gay and Lesbian community.  It’s another subject I’m intrigued by, with so many issues to explore.

Most recently I have been pivoting my career toward national and international coverage.  I’ve been filing regularly for National Public Radio and Sirius/XM radio.

Between freelance assignments, I’ve also taken on two personal projects.

I started producing a feature length documentary.   Producing a documentary has been a professional goal since I was in school.   And I was compelled to begin the production after a tragic event at my high school.

I also launched a small news website.  Right now I’m working with a friend in New York on it’s  relaunch.  In fact you find a few links on this site, to stories that are live on the new news site.

I appreciate you spending some time looking through my work.   I hope to hear from you soon.
